Big Sound in a Small Package
The Zoom F3 Multitrack Field Recorder may be small, but it’s capable of great things. Thanks to Zoom’s advanced engineering, the F3 features allows you to capture and monitor up to 192 kHz of high-quality audio and its 32-bit float recording enables the capture of an entire spectrum of sound from the quietest footsteps to the loudest bangs.
The use of the dual A/D converters and low-noise preamps, used in Zoom professional F-Series recorders, guarantee high-quality recordings in almost any recording space. And finally, the F3 is sophisticated in that it allows you to adapt to ever-changing sound fluctuation without having to set the gain or deal with clipping - the bane of audio technicians for both on-set or in the field recording - Which in turn makes for more efficient post-production editing.
Complete Control
This field recorder is designed for versatility and to make your life as a creator all the easier. Two aspects where this recorder delivers that goal is its remote recording. Using the separately sold Zoom BTA-1 adapter, you operate your F3 from up to 10 meters away from the F3’s control app for iOS and Android.
Additionally, you can connect the F3 to your computer or an iOS device via USB and use it as an audio interface and record or stream up to two channels with 24-bit float/96 kHz resolution. And, it features a loopback function that allows you to combine your computer’s audio with the F3 inputs for effective streaming.

This device is impressive compact and lightweight. It is built with durable side bars, a standard tripod mount and slide-resistant rubber feet, along with durable metal casing and locking XLR connectors.
