Both the adapter and Bluetooth remote are used to pair a 3.4” (8.7 cm) smartphone with the monocular so that the photos can be instantly seen and posted on social media.

The Vanguard monocular features a 42 mm objective lens that produces images in low-light easily. Its 10x magnification power enlarges faraway objects and makes it easy for the users to identify and follow their subjects conveniently. The roof prism design of this monocular ensures that clear and crisp images are produced with minimal distortion. The multi-coated monocular features a HOYA extra-low dispersion glass minimises spherical and chromatic aberrations and increased sharpness and contrast. Its 104 m field of view presents an immersive experience at 1000 yards.

Durable and robust construction

The Vanguard monocular has a carbon composite construction for durability. This housing has a rubberized exterior for safety from dents, scratches, and impacts. The optic of this monocular is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-filled for water resistance and fog proofing. The monocular also includes front and back lens caps for protection against scratches and dust. Users can store and transport the monocular in a soft carrying case (included). A neck strap is also included with the monocular to carry it without fatigue.

Bluetooth remote and smartphone adapter for digiscoping

The Vanguard Monocular comes with a smartphone adapter and Bluetooth remote for the users to create their own digiscoping kit. The digiscoping kit allows the users to capture clear and close images as well as videos. The PA0 smartphone adapter is used to pair the monocular with a smartphone (up to 8.7 cm). By connecting the Vanguard monocular with the smartphone, users can zoom in on the subjects and capture the desired videos or photos. Then the captured photos/videos can be instantly uploaded on an editing or social media app with the use of the Bluetooth remote. This remote allows the users to control their phone’s camera applications without a wire.
