Teradek’s Wave 5-in-1 Smart Streaming Monitor allows you to view your video feed directly on the encoder itself while streaming to a CDM such as YouTube, Facebook or other RTMP/RTMPS platforms, and therefore, eliminates the need for an additional screen. It supports HDMI video input up to 1080p60 and streams H.264/AVC video via Gigabit Ethernet, 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 6, or optional cellular modems.

The Wave 5-1 is designed to help filmmakers enhance their live streaming workflow. Its refined design refines the live streaming process by allowing you to remove the need for an additional screen. The unit is a self-contained dual-purpose hardware encoder and live streaming monitor. Using this unit you can easily organise multiple future events and when it comes to streaming, your connection will be maintained by using Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Not only can it be used for multistreaming, network bonding and recording, but it deals with encoding, too.

FlowOS

The integration of the FlowOS enables the organisation of your workflow in advance. You can set up an unlimited number of events ahead of time using the simple and intuitive project workflow. It will guide you through the steps needed to ensure a flawless stream including

video and audio configuration, network connection, and destination settings. It’s also the FlowOS that allows you to monitor your stream in real-time. You can access setting and analytics mid-stream which in turn, provides more flexibility and planning time.

You can also make use of the Wave mobile app (available for both iOS and Android). This allows you to step away from the Wave to review stream stats e.g. bitrate and network status, which will ensure a stable stream from mobile devices.

The unit is compact, lightweight and made from durable, lightweight plastic and aluminium, which of course, means you have the freedom to use this in a range of environments.
