STC Clip IRP850 Filter for Canon FF

The STC Clip IR Pass 850nm Filter for Canon full-frame DSLR camera bodies is a new and unique solution for minimising colour shift in your images and ensuring a clear focus. The filter is easily attached just above the imaging sensor rather than the lens. It fits snuggly and stays secure after the lens is attached to the camera body. IR pass filters are ideal for infrared photography. They allow infrared light to reach the imaging sensor while preventing visible light from doing so. This results in more detailed, sharper and higher-in-contrast image.

• Recommended focal distance for the used lens is 14mm or more
• To get the best effect use the Live View mode as you will have to lift the mirror to install the filter which can block the optical viewfinder
• Optical axis will change with the installation of the clip filter as the angle of view will become wider
• Please note that for the best effect the clip filter should be used with an infrared converted camera
• Compatible with Canon 5DII/5DIII/6D
