Expanded Sony FE 35mm f1.4 G Master Lens Key Features:
Incredible Optical Performance
The Sony FE 35mm f1.4 G Master Lens has been intricately designed to achieve quality content when shooting a vast range of subjects. By combining two XA (Extreme Aspherical) elements and one aspherical, Sony has placed further emphasis on corner-to-corner high-resolution and spectacular bokeh. Another addition is Sony's Nano AR Coating II, which minimises internal reflections so that flare and ghosting do not affect the final image. This is particularly useful when shooting landscapes or in a controlled studio, where other lenses may struggle to cope with bright sunlight and backlit subjects.
Stunning Bokeh Abilities
This lens also performs to an impressive standard when shooting close-ups (0.25 MF), and delivers soft and natural bokeh. Simplified, this means that the Sony FE 35mm f1.4 produces a soft, aesthetically pleasing out-of-focus background to accentuate your chosen subject within the frame. Ideal for eye-catching portraiture, this lens upholds the high-standards already laid down by previous Sony G Master lenses.
Impressive Video Capture
The Sony FE 35mm f1.4 is also at home when capturing moving-imagery. This is due to its ability to efficiently provide smooth, fast and continuous auto-focus when shooting. As a new addition to Sony's well-renowned G Master range, this lens has an ergonomic design which is both compact and lightweight; perfect for tracking movement. It has a dust and moisture resistant coating along with versatile controls for use in a range of environments where other lenses may falter. If you are thinking of using this 35 mm in the studio, city, countryside or more extreme environments, the Sony FE 35mm f1.4 G Master Lens will not let you down.
Sony G Master Range
Sony has truly redefined what a camera lens is capable of with its G Master range. The combination of high-resolution capabilities and the aesthetics of bokeh provide creators with the tools to capture stunning visuals in a variety of shooting environments. They add extensive details and texture to the frame, along with stunning bokeh - each lens is individually tested and adjusted to achieve maximum quality.

FAQs:
What types of image-capture are suited to a 35 mm lens?
A 35 mm, full-frame lens provides a slightly wider angle of view and is a go-to for many professional photographers and videographers. The majority of standard camera setups come equipped with a 50 mm lens, which is a good all-rounder but is similar to how the naked-eye sees. With the 35 mm, the field of view is not too wide, and not too long; creating an entirely new way of looking at (and capturing) your surroundings. In summary, a 35 mm lens is ideal for shooting landscapes, portraiture, travel, macro photography, urban photography, and product photography.
What are Sony G Master lenses made from?
Sony G Master lenses are built from high-tech materials and are made to be future proof. Meaning, they are compatible with 8K cameras and beyond; great for people looking to invest and build their Sony camera set up to last the test of time. Key components include two XA (Extreme Aspherical) elements and one aspherical, quality ED glass, and the inclusion of Nano AR coating.
