Expanded Sigma 105mm f1.4 DG HSM Art Lens - Canon Fit Key Features:
Bokeh Master
This lens is the perfect choice for portrait photography as it maintains the area in focus extremely sharp, while the area out of focus features a stunning bokeh effect filled with natural colours.
Exclusive Low-Dispersion Glass
This lens eliminates chromatic aberration as well as residual chromatic aberration also knows as "secondary spectrum". The lens includes up to three types of exclusive low-dispersion glass: Extraordinary Low Dispersion (ELD), Special Low Dispersion (SLD), and "F" Low Dispersion (FLD). Thanks to these as well as the optimised power distribution this lens provides the user with excellent image rendition which remains unaffected by residual chromatic aberration.
Outstanding Peripheral Brightness
Thanks to the large filter diameter of 105mm this lens provides the user with substantially larger volume of peripheral light than any other lens in its class. Being crowned the "bokeh master" it is perfect for portrait photography producing images that feature both a beautiful bokeh and minimised vignetting.
Unbeatable F1.4 Performance
Incorporating 17 optical lens elements in 12 groups allows this lens to offer its user excellent wide-aperture and mid-telephoto performance with F1.4 brightness at max aperture. This is an extraordinary amount of elements in a prime lens making this lens the best in its class. The lens combines three FLD glass elements, two SLD glass elements as well as one aspherical lens element. Thanks to this the optical system is able of minimising axial chromatic aberration in order to produce tremendously high resolution that is accompanied by ample peripheral light volume. With a powerful optical system that minimises sagittal coma flare this lens is ideal for photographing starry skies.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with SIGMA USB DOCK for customisation and flexible adjustment
- Works with MC-11 Mount Converter which allows for the use of SIGMA SA mount and SIGMA EOS mount (Canon compatible) interchangeable lenses with the Sony E-mount camera body
- Compatible with Canon Lens Aberration Correction which performs in-camera corrections of peripheral illumination, chromatic aberrations, distortions, and much more
