Sekonic's popular Flashmate L-308S Flash Meter was a must-have for studio and on-location photographers. The L-308X comes packed with upgrades and features that make it the ideal all-in-one light meter for serious photographers. In PHOTO mode users have access to full exposure control, while HD_CINE and CINE modes are tailored to videographers working with shutter angles and specific frame rates.

The Sekonic Flashmate L-308X is a versatile light meter packed full of useful features and can be used as a photo meter, a flash meter, and Cine meter, a video meter, and a chroma-key illuminance meter.

  • Building on the legacy of the L-308S: Sekonic's Flashmate L-308S was the go-to industry-standard light meter for photo professionals, and the L-308X carries on where its predecessor left off
  • 3 light meters in 1:
    • Photo mode offers full exposure control. Shutter Priority and the new Aperture Priority settings work with your camera to find the right exposure settings, while a range of ambient and flash functions ensure the user always has the right tool at their fingertips.
    • HD_CINE mode caters for modern videographers. Determine the correct exposure based on your shutter speed or frame rate within one-tenth stop accuracy
    • CINE mode differs from HD_CINE mode in that it is aimed at video professionals. The added ability to work with shutter angles is a useful addition, while Lux and foot-candle readout make setting up lights a breeze
  • Illuminated display: View the screen in low-light conditions thanks to a backlit LCD that turns on automatically under EV5
  • Calibration compensation: Match the L-308X to other light meters or adjust it to match film and digital cameras (+/-1.0EV in 0.1 step)
  • Three custom settings: Three different custom settings for display mode, increment of measurement, or unit of illuminance are available to ensure the light meter and your camera are displaying the same information
