The unit’s USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and can be used with the included USB-C to USB-A Cable.

How can I format this to work on Windows?

The unit needs to be plugged and then you will need to go to its properties where it will give you the option to reformat the unit. Please note that when reformatting, all data on the unit will be wiped.
