Nikon ES-1 Slide Copier / 52mm Copying Adaptor

Designed for full-frame FX cameras, the Nikon ES-1 Slide Copier is for use with the Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 lens and BR-5 ring. The combination is an effective and accurate way of copying and digitising your 35mm slide archive, allowing you to send digital versions of treasured memories to friends and relatives, and handing you the amazing opportunity to revisit and enhance older photo archives using modern post-processing techniques.

Attached to the AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D lens with the BR-5 Ring or the Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 lens (both lenses are for full-frame), this adapter enables duplication of 35mm film. Attaching the ES-1 to the Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8 lens and extension tubes, you can copy 35mm slides.

NOTE: If using a DX-format (crop) DSLR on a full-frame lens, you may require an extension tube in front of the lens (between lens and ES-1). This is because a DX sensor is smaller than a 35mm film frame and it may produce too much magnification.
