The high-quality SCHOTT HT glass improves light transmission for a brighter viewing image, particularly within the blue-violet band. Reliable performance in all viewing conditions is guaranteed with clear colour fidelity and enhanced low-light performance - considerably improved twilight vision. Further to this, the P40 phase-correction prism coating and integrated HDC fully multi-coated system consist of key anti-reflection and abrasion-resistant properties. This allows for reinforced colour rendition, whilst the high-temperature plasma lens coating depositing system, establishes the optimal placement of the aforementioned lens coatings.

The lubricant-free central focusing system with PETP-Discs ensures smooth movements throughout the operating temperature, whilst the central diopter adjustment wheel can be locked in place for consistency in all viewing situations. You also have the luxury of ergonomic thumb rests, a durable and lightweight magnesium chassis and titanium centre hinge axel. One of the most impressive features of the Ultravid series is the fact that they are nitrogen filled, fogproof and watertight to 5m/0.5 bar pressure.

They also cater well to both those with or without eyewear, with twist-up four-position click-stop rubber eyecups and ±4 right-eye dioptric correction. This makes them extremely comfortable when positioned upon your face, backed-up by durable twist-out two-stage click-stop eyecups. With an optional adapter (not included), you can mount your Ultravid binoculars to a tripod system - ideal for hiking, travelling, and for use in a bird hide.
