The Leofoto DC-364C center column is intended as an additional accessory for the Mountain LN-364C carbon tripod and for the Summit series tripods. It allows you to increase the maximum working height by 42.5 centimeters if necessary.

The Leofoto DC-364C centre column is intended as an additional accessory for the Mountain LN-364C carbon tripod and for the Summit series tripods. It allows you to increase the maximum working height by 42.5 centimetres if necessary. The centre column is 32mm thick and made of 10 layers of cross-woven, reinforced carbon fibre and CNC milled aluminium components and weighs only 478 grams. A 3/8-inch tripod screw is provided on the top plate to attach a professional tripod head.

Smooth and quick adjustable centre column

The DC-364C centre column is smooth and quickly adjustable by the handy butterfly nut on the tripod plate, allowing you to adjust the centre column even with gloves on. In addition, the centre column can be rotated for working low to the ground. So you can get very close to your subject for macro photography, for example. A carbon centre column can absorb vibrations perfectly, but due to its relatively low weight, a counterweight is often necessary for stable work. Therefore, Leofoto has added a removable hook at the bottom of the DC-364C centre column. You can hang a camera bag from this, but also a bag of stones, for example.

Leofoto Summit carbon tripods

The tripods in the Leofoto Summit Series are distinguished by their tremendous stability and light weight. They have a wide, removable tripod plate and no centre column, which minimizes vibration and makes them very sturdy. In addition, they all come with half-bowl, making them suitable for mounting a video head as well. Optionally, a centre column is available to increase the maximum working height. On the sides and bottom of the tripod plate are UNC 3/8 screw holes to which a magic arm or smartphone can be attached. At the top of the plate is a level.
