Laowa Aurogon FF 10-50X NA0.5 Supermicro APO covers full-frame sensors and can be used directly on cameras. It features seamlessly interchangeable magnification tubes, offering 10X, 20X, 35X, and 50X magnification options. The adjustable numerical aperture (NA) of this microscope lens ranges from 0.5 to 0.1, the high NA providing room for exceptional brightness and minimal diffraction.

The lens is designed with a fixed 20mm long working distance, ensuring both flexibility and convenience for the lighting setup. Aurogon delivers high performance with APO design and outstanding resolution. It is your ultimate companion for diving into the microscopic realm.

Beyond 5X with your full frame camera!

Laowa introduced a 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro a few years ago and that gives photographers an easy-to-use tool to create greater-than-life-size images up to 5X magnification. For years, many enthusiasts have longed for a lens that is camera-ready, has high image quality, and less expensive option for getting into an even more extreme micro world. The Aurogon is an excellent macro lens for photographers to capture magnified details with any full frame camera. Revealing the fascinating unseen micro world under 10X,20X,35X, and even 50X magnification ratios.

With a modular design, the lens has a universal objective lens and can easily switch between four magnifications with a different tube lens.

Fixed 20mm working distance for all magnification

Most of the objective lenses used in such microscopic photography would have a short working distance. The distance would also gradually get much shorter when using higher magnification. However, the Aurogon has a fixed 20mm long working distance across all magnification ratios. It would be much easier to obtain sufficient light and deploy lighting to an ideal angle. Gives you greater control over the lighting setup, making every shot a masterpiece.

Besides, if you need to switch from one ratio to another, there would be a minimum change needed to the objective lens and lighting setup.

APO design and adjustable numerical aperture

Users would be amazed by its excellent image quality and colour rendition. An APO design offers exceptional chromatic aberration control and ensures superb image clarity.

The lens also has an adjustable NA that ranges from 0.15 to 0.5. Photographers can have the flexibility to focus with brighter NA and then set to the optimal NA best on the camera sensor and lighting setup. It also helps to slightly control the depth of field when shooting video.

Explore the microscopic world in different ways

The Aurogon design makes setting up the lens easier than ever. Whether using a 10X or 20X in the field, or 50X in a studio setup, you can easily adapt your own setup preference to get the best of it.

Optional lens tube slip rings for a stable setup

For those who are looking for a made-ready setup to attach the lens for stable shooting, Laowa offers an add-on option of a Tube Lens Slip Ring set. It can be purchased separately.
