Expanded Laowa 6mm f2 Zero-D Lens for Micro Four Thirds Key Features:
Ultra-Wide-Angle
The Laowa 6mm f2 Zero-D Lens is a rectilinear lens that provides the widest angle of view in the Micro Four Thirds market. A 121.9° angle of view, paired with a bright f2 maximum aperture, allows you to capture a variety of shots in low and tricky lighting conditions. These include cityscape photography at dusk, architectural photography where the interior space is poorly lit, or extended landscape shooting where the light is beginning to fade.
For getting up close to your subjects, the lens has a 9cm minimum focusing distance so your images are always clear and sharp. Laowa’s Zero-Distortion feature is also present in this lens, perfect for producing architectural and cityscape photos without any distortion. Simply align the camera to the horizontal level and capture incredible images.
Purposeful Design
This 6mm f2 Zero-D lens is compact and sports smart functionality, making use of its powerful features effortless. Thanks to a new CPU chip and motor, the auto aperture function allows you to adjust the aperture through the camera body - eliminating the need for an aperture ring to reduce the size of the lens to make setting up shots easier than ever. The focus magnifier can also be triggered for easier focusing when rotating the focus ring.
The lens incorporates a built-in petal-shaped lens hood to shield stray light - reducing flare and ghosting. It also acts to protect the front element of the lens from accidental damage. Focus markings on the lens make calibration easier than ever, and a 58mm filter thread allows you to incorporate your favourite filters. This lightweight lens has been designed to be compatible with gimbals and drones.

FAQs:
How small is the lens?
Compact and lightweight, it measures 61 x 52mm and only weighs 188g - making it perfectly suited for travel, drone and gimbal photography.
How many aperture blades does the lens have?
The 6mm f2 Zero-D lens sports five aperture blades to produce ten-point sunstars.
What is a rectilinear lens?
Rectilinear optics describe the ability of a specialised lens to remove optical distortion - a common issue with wide-angle lenses at infinity focus. This means that little to no barrel or pincushioning will occur, and lines that may have been warped or fish-eyed become straightened.
