The unit is factory-formatted to HFS+ for Mac, configured as RAID 0, and connects to your system via 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C interface. But should you not be a Mac user, the unit can be reformatted for use on Windows. This unit is designed for professionals who need to transfer large files as quickly as possible for a reliable editing experience e.g. data-heavy 4K video editing. And to cool the system down, the aluminium enclosure and thermoregulated Noctua cooling fan provide effective heat dissipation and cooling.
