Excellent Camera Cage

Equipped with a robust and versatile Manfrotto 501 camera plate system, the Kondor camera cage makes attaching a camera as easy as possible. Changing your gear back and forth becomes easier with this plate, as it features a quick-release system. In addition to the plate, the cage also features multiple mounting points for attaching a variety of accessories for a professional setup. There are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads and the entire left side of the cage features a NATO rail configuration for connecting a top handle or NATO-compatible accessories. The attached plate on this cage locks firmly into place, providing reliable performance. Also, the rubber padding on the plate prevents the camera from twisting or scratching.

Ergonomic Baseplate

In addition to a robust cage, the base rig also comes equipped with a 15 mm ARRI-standard baseplate that has a straightforward and universal design. This design helps to accommodate a variety of devices. There are 15 mm ARRI-standard dovetails on the plate with support for 15 mm LWS rods to accommodate heavy accessories. With the side-loaded camera plate system, you’re able to mount your camera directly from the top instead of installing it from the front. Best of all, there are tripod mounting screws and threads, which help work with a standard tripod.

PPSH Support Rods

Supplied with 15 mm PPSH support rods, the Kondor base rig lets you work with advanced accessories, such as servo motors, follow focus systems, lens supports, battery mounts, and so much more. There are PPSH cutouts throughout the rod design, which help reduce its weight and support the maximum amount of accessories. Each rod extends up to 8” (20 cm) in length and if you want to extend it further, you can use the optional M12 rod extension screws for custom length.
