Full Camera Cage with Trigger Handle

Designed to protect the camera, the Kondor Blue Ultimate Rig for Canon R5 cameras is a full shoulder mount rig. It includes a camera cage with a trigger handle and other accessories to create a full cinema setup with the camera. It provides shoulder support and multiple accessory points. The start/stop trigger on the top handle allows you to control the camera for both videos and still captures. NATO rails on all sides of the cage enable the mounting of the top handle on top and additional accessories on the cage. Featuring an open design, the cage offers full access to the camera’s ports and controls. This four-sided aluminium cage is compatible with Canon R, R5, R5 C, and R6 cameras and is economically designed for handheld use. The cold shoe safety pin arrangement prevents accidental falling out of the attached accessories. There are over seventy 1/4" and 3/8” threaded holes for accessory attachment.

Universal Baseplate for Easy Camera Mounting

Featuring a universal design, the included 15 mm ARRI-standard baseplate is compatible with Kondor’s Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K cages and has an ARRI-standard dovetail, supporting 15 mm LWS rods. The side-loaded camera plate system of the baseplate enables easy mounting of the camera from the top instead of having to slide it in from the front. It comes with a 501-standard camera plate with 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting screws for the attachment to a tripod or other support systems. It is rubber-padded to prevent the camera from twisting and protect it from scratches. It makes it easy to create a setup with a large matte box and a big lens.

Professional Battery Power

You can add professional battery power to the rig with the V-mount Cine battery plate that is made from aerospace-grade aluminium. It features multiple DC outputs to power multiple devices simultaneously. The plate features two 15 mm rod connectors that allow you to mount it to an existing rig using the two locking levers. The plate includes a switchable 7.4/8.4 V 1.35 mm barrel output, a 12 V 2.5 mm barrel output, a 5V 2.5 mm barrel output, and a D-Tap output to power your accessories and camera. The 2.5 mm DC barrel charger input enables charging of the mounted battery and powering of the plate/accessories if no battery is mounted. The status indicator blinks light if the charger cable is plugged in but no battery is mounted, the red light means that the battery is charging, and the green light means that the battery is fully charged.

Make sure to change the “shutter button function for moves” to “fully-press = start/stop movement recording” in the menu settings to start the top handle button. Set your handle switch to P for Canon mirrorless cameras.
