FAQs:
How is the film to be stored?
Store the unexposed film in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, preferably at 21 degree-Celsius or lower. How can the film be scanned?
The Portra 160 film negatives can easily be scanned with a variety of scanners like PMT, area-array-CCD, and linear-array-CCD scanners. Desktop scanners and high-end drum scanners can also be used for scanning, wherein the output depends on the scanner’s sensitivity to the film’s dyes.
Which development process is used?
The colour negative films use the standard C-41 development process, using the Kodak Flexicolor chemicals with varying replenishment and wash rates.
Can the film be used with filters?
This print film can be used with filters, although it is not recommended to change the film-speed setting when you are metering through a filter. This might affect the accuracy of the light meter.
