Are these guards waterproof?

No. These guards are only dust and splash-proof. If you’re intending to use your Insta360 X3 camera underwater, we recommend removing the lens guards and using the optional dive case for best results.

Are these guards the same size?

No. It is important to distinguish the front and back lenses for correct use. The thinner guard should be placed on the side with the camera screen. The thicker guard should be placed on the opposite side.

How do I apply the guards?

First, use the lens cloth to remove any dust or debris that could obscure your view. Then, to carefully apply these lens guards, secure the adhesive and ensure the notch of the guard is aligned with the rim of the lens. Hold for 15 seconds to ensure the guard is correctly applied.
