Small but Mighty

Hobolite’s Avant is a portable LED light that sports powerful features. This bi-colour light has 100W of power to provide professional lighting whether you’re a content creator, photographer or filmmaker. It has a wide colour temperature range of 2700K-6500K, making it versatile enough for different projects. A high CRI and TLCI of 96 means the Avant outputs natural, high-quality white light, and the Avant has an illuminance of up to 3734 lux - which will surely light up any scene. The power of the Avant is housed in a compact build that is portable enough for quick setups and on-the-go shoots.

Style and Functionality

The Avant light, as well as its accessories, are as stylish as they are useful. The light has an Old Hollywood look, with its brown, leathery panels and industrial, boxed housing. Whilst it has a retro look, the features of the Avant are anything but. Knurled control knobs on the back not only let you dim the light between 0 and 100%, but also adjust the colour temperature too. Thanks to built-in NFC technology, you can seamlessly connect your Hobolite app to the Avant for remote control operation. To keep everything running smoothly over time, the light’s smart thermal response system keeps the Avant cool and prevents overheating.

Versatile and Adaptable

Whilst it provides a powerful light, the Avant also provides creative freedom and flexibility in its design. The light sports an integrated V-mount quick-release system, letting you effortlessly attach accessories and batteries in seconds. This kit comes with a V-mount handle that not only rotates the Avant 180° but also has threads for attaching additional accessories. The included four-leaf barndoor lets you shape the light and is also designed to work with the interchangeable lens accessories. These are magnetically attached to the barndoor and include a honeycomb, a diffuser dome and four colour filters: red, yellow, green and blue.

Creator Kit Accessories

This Creator AC/DC Kit adds additional accessories to make the already capable Avant light even more prepared for shoots. An umbrella-shaped 60cm softbox allows you to maximise the Avant’s optics and can be set up in seconds thanks to the umbrella lock interior. The softbox has a reflective interior for outputting a soft, neutral light, and a removable front diffuser - with an egg-crate attachment - to create a high-contrast look. Also included with the Creator Kit is a carbon fibre tripod light stand. Extending to 240cm and folding down to 55cm, this is a versatile stand that provides stability. Finally, the 95Wh V-Mount battery can be used to not only power the Avant but also multiple devices through its output ports.
