Most Versatile GoPro Yet

It may share the same body as the HERO10, but on the inside, the HERO11 is a generational leap ahead. This action camera can shoot cinematic 5.3K60 video, and can also capture 4K120 and 2.7K240 video for those needing higher frame rates. This new GoPro captures 10-bit colour which brings vibrant imagery to life but also allows footage to be professionally colour graded in the edit.

For shooting at night, the HERO11’s Night Effects has three new creative modes. Star Trails uses the Earth’s rotation and stars to capture stunning light trails across the night sky, Light Painting creates vivid brush stroke effects with moving light and Vehicle Light Trails records light trail footage from night-time traffic.

Adaptable Image Sensor

The biggest leap forward with the HERO11 is its new image sensor. It is a large, 8:7 sensor that captures an extra-wide field of view. This square-ish aspect ratio might seem strange at first but it cleverly allows footage to be used in any format on any platform. The same shot can be cropped to 9:16 for TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube, or 1:1 for Instagram.

Having a large image sensor means you can capture more detail in shots too. You can grab 24.7-megapixel photos directly from video, and you can even shoot lifelike 27-megapixel photos. Of course, the 8:7 sensor means photos can be cropped in any way you wish or left to utilise the full, wide frame.

Impossibly Smooth Footage

Footage has never been so smooth and stable. HyperSmooth 5.0 far exceeds the capabilities of the already incredible HyperSmooth 4.0. The inclusion of AutoBoost means the Hero11 will automatically detect the level of video stabilisation needed, and then adjusts the footage accordingly to counteract severe shaking - even at wide angles.

Horizon Lock is now built-in with HyperSmooth 5.0, making this function better than ever. The horizon will stay level even if the camera tilts during recording, but having it built-in means it is easier than ever to keep the horizon steady and consistent - even when the camera rotates 360°.

Shoot and Upload Anywhere

The durable construction and range of connectivity options make the HERO11 an adaptable camera when shooting or editing. This action camera is waterproof up to 33ft and features a water-repellant lens cover so shots are always crystal clear even when the camera is wet. Out of the box you get the long-lasting Enduro battery, which improves camera performance in cold temperatures and extends recording times by up to 38% compared to previous GoPro batteries.

To make editing smooth and simple, when the HERO11 is plugged in and connected to your home Wi-Fi it will automatically upload your footage to the cloud. It will even send you a highlight video straight to your phone as the camera is charging, which you can edit with a library of music and effects.
