Stability

The Medium Glide is a heavy tripod weighing more than 16 kilograms and is made of large and strong steel tubes. The legs consist of closed sections of 25 x 25 millimetres that, in combination with the wheels, form a base with a span of 120 centimetres. All this and the aluminium connectors and clamps ensure the great stability of the Medium Glide Stand.

Load capacity

The centre column of the tripod can carry a load of up to 20 kilograms. Such an enormous load capacity makes it possible to work with even the largest softboxes and umbrellas. The GlareOne Medium Glide is your best choice in situations where you need to light a set from above. Even if this is with a lamp and a softbox with a diameter of 120 centimetres (or larger).

2-in-1 Tripod with boom

The Medium Glide is a 2-in-1 tripod. When the vertical column is used in one piece, it has a maximum height of 405 centimetres. But the column can also be divided and used as a tree. When used as a boom tripod, the tripod has a maximum height of 220cm and a boom length of 193cm.

Adjustable leg

One of the legs is adjustable in length. This makes it possible to set up the tripod in places where ordinary tripods cannot be placed safely. This mechanism makes it easy to place the Medium Glide on a sloping surface and level it properly, which positively affects the safety of work on the set.

Spigot Receiver

The Medium Glide is equipped with an aluminum head with a 16mm / 5/8" spigot receiver that sits perpendicular to the tripod's axis. The spigot can be locked so that a mounted lamp does not rotate during use. The bolt that controls the position of the spigot locks can be placed on two sides of the head.
