But Gitzo is offering one with a screw lock and one with a lever lock to hold the quick release plate in place. There are benefits to both but this choice comes down to personal preference and what you're using it for. If you're out photography wildlife in subzero temperatures, it may be easier to operate a lever whilst you're wearing big bulky gloves.

This really does come down to personal preference. Some would say that the lever offers quick movements as well as being able to be locked quicker, but again, this could down to the personal preference of the user.
