Expanded Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Format Camera Body Key Features:
Rangefinder
For the ease of shooting the rangefinder design of the camera body allows the operator to keep their eye on the subject whilst looking through the viewfinder with their other eyeball. Thanks to this, checking and feeling the atmosphere of the scene around the subject matter is shown in the EVF.
Tethered Shooting
There are two tethering software compatible with the GFX system, HS-V5 for Windows, and Tethered Shooting Plug-in Pro for Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, Capture One Pro is available. It provides additional options in-studio sessions for fashion and commercial photography. Thanks to this, pro photographers can fit the GFX system into their day-to-day work routine.
Weather-Sealed Stylish Design
The body of the GFX 50R combines style and luxurious feel with robustness. It has been constructed from durable Magnesium Alloy and is weather-sealed in 64 places to guard against dust and provide weather resistance. Users can operate the camera at temperatures as low as -10 degrees. The full weather-sealed construction makes the GFX meet the rigorous standards of all photographers.
Powerful and Clear EVF
The camera comes fitted with the 0.77x3.96M-dot organic EL Electronic Viewfinder thanks to which accurate focusing is possible regardless of the huge size of the medium-format sensor. This means that a shallower depth of field than that of a 35mm full-frame sensor can be achieved when working at the same angle of view.
Excellent Processing Power
The X-Processor Pro image processing engine supports Fujifilm's acclaimed Film Simulation modes thanks to which the user can choose to utilise the tonality of photographic films such as Velvia, PROVIA, and ACROS. These have been used for years within the medium-format film cameras and now they can be experimented with by the new generation of photographers.
