The DJI Inspire 2 X7 is the culmination of the DJI Inspire 2 drone system and the Zenmus X7 camera gimbal; a partnership that does not disappoint. As an aircraft, the Inspire 2 can accelerate to 50 mph in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 58 mph. The DJI's FlightAutonomy system can automatically detect and avoid objects in front of, below, and above; even recalling flight paths for emergency ‘return-to-home' without GPS enabled. The Zenmuse X7 gimbal camera provides 3-axis stabilisation and 6K resolution (17:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio). It can also record DCI 4K at 30 fps, and UHD 4K at a smoother 60 fps. The X7 takes Hi-res 24MP still-images, and the 16 mm ASPH ND lens delivers an open f/2.8 aperture - ideal in low-light, or to reduce depth-of-field for bokeh effect. The DJI Inspire 2 X7 is a serious aerial contender.

Expanded DJI Inspire 2 X7 Standard Kit Key Features:
Spotlight Pro
Spotlight Pro is an enhanced tracking mode to allow single pilots to gain exciting, complex imagery. Visual-tracking algorithms lock onto the subject during flight regardless of the DJI's movements, capturing cinema-grade shots that would have once required a highly-skilled camera operator. If the gimbal is reaching its rotation limit, the Inspire 2 will turn in the same direction without affecting flight control or framing - prioritising gimbal movement whilst allowing for smoother tracking shots.
Spotlight Pro has two key modes: Quick and Composition. In Quick mode, identify an object to initiate tracking, and in Composition mode, identify the subject and tracking position - press the shortcut to begin tracking when the subject has entered the preset tracking position. The gimbal is also able to be moved during shooting to allow for composition adjustments. Spotlight Pro available in all Flight Modes to include: ActiveTrack, TapFly, Waypoint, and Point of Interest.
In-Flight Performance
The DJI Inspire 2 is a master of power, speed, and agility in the air. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 mph in just four seconds and can fly at a maximum attitude angle of 40°. The Inspire 2's propulsion system gives it a 58 mph top speed, and allows for steep descents at up to 29 feet-per-second and ascents at up to 19 feet-per-second. When juggling in-flight filming, the 2-axis onboard FPV camera splits the flight-view from the main camera view - effectively enabling the Inspire 2 with a dedicated ‘tap-to-fly' video transmission system. To use, simply touch a point on screen in the FPV view to set a flight route and watch as the drone automatically advances along the route - pilot can then give full attention to gimbal movement.
ActiveTrack Mode also gives the Inspire 2 the ability to recognise a vast array of objects (people, bikes, cars and boats), and then tracks their profiles with exacting precision. It's reassuring to know that the Inspire 2's impressive in-flight capabilities are not at the downfall of battery life, with the two LiPo onboard batteries providing up to 27 minutes of flight on full-charge - If one battery falters, the second can maintain flight long enough to ensure a safe landing.
Advanced Obstacle Sensing and Safe Return Protocols
The Inspire 2 can detect obstacles up to 30 m ahead with forward and downward vision systems, enabling protected flight at up to 34 mph and a controllable attitude angle of 25°. When traversing enclosed spaces, upward-facing infrared sensors scan obstacles 5 m above; with Obstacle-sensing systems active during normal flight, RTH, and all Intelligent Flight Modes. This system is able to form a real-time map of its route during flight. Meaning, if video transmission is lost and Smart Return Home is enabled, it will track along its original route and change course to a straight line when it regains signal. During its return home, the Inspire 2 will identify obstacles up to 200 m in front, prioritising a safe and secure landing.
Secure Video Transmission
Featuring DJI's Lightbridge technology, the Inspire 2 has an effective video transmission distance of up to 4.3 miles in ideal conditions. It delivers 1080p and 720p video in addition to the FPV view, which is sent directly to both pilot and camera operator. To avoid any damaging interference, the user is able to switch between 2.4 and 5.8 GHz control frequencies for improved signal stability. Master and slave setups are further supported and the Inspire 2 remote controller can transmit a secure HD video signal to the slave controller up to 91 m away without affecting the image-quality. During flight, all recording functionality is processed by its powerful CineCore 2.0 image-processing system.
