Whilst they share most features, the SpyderX Elite is a superior version of the Pro model with additional features. It has an all-in-one calibration control panel, can calibrate digital projectors, has calibration targets for motion work, can soft-proof work with print output previews, and can display a side-by-side match for precise visual fine tuning.
How do I use the Spyder Checkr Photo?
To effectively use the Spyder Checkr Photo for accurate colours in your photographs, simply take a photo of the Spyder Checkr then open it in the Spyder Checkr software. The software will generate an HSL preset to use on your photographs in post-production programmes.
What editing software is the Spyder Checkr software compatible with?
The HSL presets the software generates can be used in third-party software such as Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Camera RAW, and Hasselblad Phocus.
What system requirements are needed to run the SpyderX Elite and Spyder Checkr software?
Both require a PC running a Windows 7, 8, or 10 operating system, or a Mac running OS X 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, or 10.14. A monitor with a resolution of 1280x768 or greater is also required, as is a PC/Mac with a 16-bit video card, 1GB RAM and 500MB hard drive space. An internet connection is required to download the software.
