Can you use these pads with any tripod? How to use them?

You can use these vibration suppression pads with a three-leg section tripod. Simply put a pad below each tripod leg, preferably on a flat surface. Follow the same procedure if you have to relocate the setup.

How is the Sorbothane material different from other materials of the same kind?

These durable pads are manufactured from Sorbothane material. This versatile material has shock and noise absorption properties that help stabilise the tripod in windy conditions. Additionally, this material does not melt in the sunlight like the synthetic rubber or silicone does.
