FAQs:
Should I get a Refractor or Reflector?
Well, there is a distinct difference between the two types and each type has its advantage. Reflecting telescopes use mirrors inside the tube; whereas, refractor telescopes use lenses and therefore are often bigger and heavier. Generally, refractor telescopes tend to be better for observing planets and the moon; whereas, reflectors are better for deep-sky objects such as galaxies and nebulas.
