Expanded Celestron NexStar Evolution 9.25 EdgeHD Computerised Key Features:

Ideal for Astro-imaging

This telescope is ideal for beginner Astro-imaging and is an excellent device to get you started. It is a fork-mounted telescope with improved motors and brass worm gears for impressive tracking accuracy. It allows you to capture images of deep-sky objects like the Orion Nebula by simply attaching your CCD or DSLR camera. It also allows you to add the Pro HD Wedge to achieve longer exposures for more detailed images. The StarBright XLT optical coatings offer sharp and bright views. The long-lasting battery provides enough power for a 10-hour long Astro-imaging session, and it is equipped with 4 auxiliary ports and a convenient hand-control for a seamless and enjoyable Astro-imaging experience.

Features StarSense AutoAlign Technology

The 9.25” telescope with integrated Wi-Fi enables you to connect your device to the NexStar Evolution’s built-in wireless network and explore the universe with the Celestron mobile app for Android and iOS. The planetarium interface can be used to view the night sky in real-time or to display a list of celestial objects based on your current location and time. The SkyAlign alignment procedure is built into the Celestron mobile application and helps you optimise your time outdoors. It scans the night sky and analyses the star patterns to automatically calculate the telescope’s precise time, location, and date. When paired with the Evolution mount, the StarSense AutoAlign is easy to use and offers more functionality.

User-friendly EdgeHD Optical Tube

The Celestron NexStar Evolution 9.25” optical tube is a compact, portable, and user-friendly telescope with a flat-field Schmidt optical system to produce aberration-free images across a wide field of view. It guarantees visibly sharp stars across full-frame sensors and can accommodate modern imaging with cameras of all types, such as DSLR and large-format CCD cameras. Using an optional, third-party lens assembly makes it compatible with ultra-fast f2 wide-field imaging. This Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope provides up to 10 hours of continuous observation, thanks to the integrated lithium-iron-phosphate battery. The intelligent power management system can sense when battery levels are low and the telescope goes into power-saving mode to keep it running for as long as possible.
