Expanded Canon EOS M50 Mark II Digital Camera Body Key Features:
DIGIC 8 Image Processor And 24.1MP APS-C CMOS Sensor
As with the previous EOS M50, this model utilises a 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 8 image processor. By doing so, you are provided with high sensitivity and efficient camera performance when shooting both still and video. Alongside this, a wide ISO 100-25600 range, with an expandable ISO 51200 setting, is great for use in low-light conditions. Backed up by the Auto Lighting Optimiser, which adds even more clarity when shooting in environments where you have little to no control over your surroundings. HD 720p120 works wonders when recording dynamic slow-motion scenes, whilst Full HD 1080p60 and UHD 4K video at 23.98 fps are also supported. This portable mirrorless camera lets you make smooth, memorable cinematic movies and take sharp, hassle-free photos straight out of the box.
Revised Dual Pixel CMOS AF
Dual Pixel CMOS AF effectively replicates the fast focusing performance of high-end camcorders. For still-image capture, this allows for fast-action and accurate focusing - ideal for shooting and tracking a subject in motion. Alongside this, Eye Detection AF is great for portraiture, emphasising the colourations within the subject's eye for a more dynamic image.
In regard to video capture, Movie Servo AF mode provides a smoother and more natural change in focus between different subjects within the frame. It also allows for custom changes when tracking sensitivity, AF speed, and Face Tracking priority. With the EOS M50 II's improved Touch AF system, you can now attain rack focus by tapping elements within the frame on the LED screen to quickly and accurately change the point of focus. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF can also recognise subjects within a busy frame and track them through the scene - a great feature for those looking to take their first steps into amateur filmmaking.
Made For The Contemporary Content Creators
As the world of content creation has shifted to social media, vlogging, and live streaming, modern creatives are now looking for camera gear that can cater specifically to their needs. The EOS M50 II now utilises Combination IS via the built-in 5-axis image stabilisation system, effectively minimising the appearance of camera shake when shooting handheld. This has a direct benefit on the quality of your footage and is especially helpful for vloggers and social media content creators. Further additions to the EOS M50 II include support for vertical video recording, a clean HDMI output, and a quicker camera startup time.
Quickly connect the camera to your smartphone using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Automatically send images to smart devices and PCs with auto image sync and transfer - for instant sharing on social media or cloud backup to irista. Download the Camera Connect app for remote camera control. The EOS M50 II also benefits from its ability to be paired with EOS Webcam Utility Software - essentially becoming a high-performance webcam.
