Designed for the Canon EOS 5D, its dedicated set of controls (shutter button, main dial, AE/FE Lock button, and AF frame-select button) allow you to take portait shots with the same ease as horizontal shots. The BG-E4 can hold one or two BP-511 battery packs, or 6xAA Batteries to provide approximately twice the shooting capacity of the camera alone.
