This handy horizontal cross arm from Calumet can be used to mount multiple flash heads or cameras to your tripod or stand. It mounts on any column with a 3/8" thread and allows for up to 2 flash heads or cameras or a combination of one of each to be attached to its 2 horizontal sliding mounts. Each sliding mount features a 3/8" thread.
There are 2 more mounts at each end of the cross arm, 1 x ¼-20 and 1 x 3/8", for more mounting options. An additional ¼-20/3/8" platform is also included.
The cross arm can be used for a variety of purposes. It will hold up to 4 flash heads for multiple flash setups. It can also handle cameras up to Medium Format, allowing for easy and precise horizontal repositioning or for multiple exposures with a single camera for stereo photography.
By mounting a camera to one of the end mounts, the cross arm can act as a copy stand. Perfect for when shooting tethered to a laptop while using with the Calumet Tripod Support Platform (CK7030) and i-Visor Pro LS Laptop Case (RM1902).
