Canon has announced a trio of new cameras, as well as a new standard lens and remote control. Let's take a look
Canon EOS 800D
Canon's new DSLR is billed as the next generation of DSLR technology, made simple. Designed for users looking to take their first steps into DSLR photography, the EOS 800D brings the sophisticated capabilities of Canon's uppermost DSLRs into an intuitive, easy-to-use body.
With a 24.2MP sensor providing the imaging power and the DIGIC 7 processor ensuring fast operational speeds, the Canon EOS 800D promises to be able to capture a great detail of image detail even in low-light and high-contrast situations.
The 6fps burst rate and lightning-fast autofocus mean it'll keep up with even the most demanding subjects, while in-body image stabilisation ensures crisp images by ironing out blur caused by camera movements.

Canon EOS 77D
Sporting a near-identical specification to the EOS 800D, the EOS 77D offers a more advanced degree of control and is intended for the more confident DSLR user.
It boasts a top LCD screen for quickly consulting settings, and an additional control dial on its rear that nestles under the right thumb.
Under the bonnet the EOS 77D has all the sophisticated imaging power of the EOS 800D. Both cameras use Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF, which promises fast focusing when shooting videos as well as stills, while the Live View AF – which Canon claims to be the fastest in the world – ensures you'll be able to keep up with the action even when focusing using the rear screen.

Canon EOS M6
The latest in Canon's EOS M line of lightweight mirrorless cameras, the EOS M6 is a small, sophisticated CSC offering the speed and quality of a DSLR.
With a large 24.2MP sensor and Canon's DIGIC 7 processor, the EOS M6 promises to produce images of excellent quality even in challenging low-light and high-contrast situations. Compatible with the ultra-portable EOS M lenses, the EOS M6 really is a take-anywhere camera.
It's suited to shooters of both stills and video, and both of these can be shared quickly and easily thanks to the M6's extensive connectivity options, which include Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth.

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM
This versatile standard zoom lens has been made more compact than ever, and is designed for active photographers who like to travel light. J
ust 61.8mm long and weighing in at 215g, the new EF-S 18-55mm makes a perfect companion for landscapes, travel and more.
The 4-stop image stabiliser built into the lens makes low-light shooting easier and more achievable, while the STM autofocus is fast and smooth for both stills and video.
Canon promises optics that will deliver rich detail, with Super Spectra coating to reduce flare and ghosting.

Remote controller BR-E1
A simple and reliable way to control your Bluetooth-enabled Canon EOS camera, the BR-E1 works to distances of up to 5m, allowing you to include yourself in the frame or photograph wildlife that might otherwise be scared away by your presence.
The remote is easy to pair with your camera via Bluetooth, and its intuitive and lightweight design makes it a perfect companion to keep with you wherever you go. It can also be used to trigger starting and stopping of video capture, making it an ideal tool for YouTube vloggers.
It can also be used to trigger zooms with the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E1 is paired with the EF-S 18-135mm f/2.5-5.6 IS. Canon says the battery for the remote should last up to one year.
