Advanced Digital Film Camera

Multiple resolutions and frame rates can produce exceptional footage but the 5th generation colour science feature pushes it further. Found in the high-end URSA Mini Pro 12K camera, colour science technology provides a 12-bit gamma curve to capture more colour data which results in more accurate skin tones and colours. These features are powered by the advanced Blackmagic OS. This powerful operating system turns on the camera almost instantly and has a user-friendly interface that can be navigated using simple taps and gestures. The touchscreen LCD monitor allows for intuitive access to functions and settings, but its large 5 inch display makes framing and focussing 6K shots easy and efficient.

Whether shooting vlogs or feature films, the 6K G2 produces stunning results. A native 6144x3456 resolution makes sure every frame is crystal clear and picks up the smallest of details. There’s a reason why this resolution is standard in the film and television industry. To truly give you that cinematic aesthetic, the 6K G2 features a large Super 35 sensor that allows a shallow depth of field and for anamorphic lenses to be used. 13 stops of dynamic range and a dual native ISO up to 25,600 lets you capture stunning images in bright sunlight or in near pitch-black environments. You can also shoot up to 60fps at higher resolutions and even up to 120fps in lower windowed resolutions.

Adaptable For Any Production

Тhе 6К G2 sports multiple connections and ports, allowing you to build custom rigs around the camera. With an EF lens mount, you can use high-end lenses from other cameras or even anamorphic lenses for that Hollywood look. A range of connections found on the side of the body opens up many possibilities. The full-size HDMI connector can be used for HDR monitor support and a USB-C port allows you to record directly to SSDs or media disks for a smoother post production process. For sound, there are 2 mini XLR for recording 2 separate audio tracks whilst also providing 48V phantom power to your professional microphones. Of course, you can also plug in headphones and a 3.5mm microphone jack.

A multi-functional handgrip lets you access numerous controls from your fingertips; including recording, ISO, WB and shutter angle. User assignable keys allow you to prioritise what functions you need quick access to, whether that's for high frame rates, focus zoom or something else. The LCD touchscreen is a HDR display that can tilt up or down so you can monitor your shot from any position. Touchscreen functionality allows you to quickly adjust settings without diving into menus and you can even hide the HUD completely so you can frame up the perfect shot.
