Lightweight and Compact Design

The legs can be reversed so that the tripod can be packed down, small enough to easily fit in your kit bag or attached to your bag without weighing you down.

Built for Versatility

Another feature of the Bat Series is the Dual-Lock centre column. This system with both give you extra height just when you need it, but also features a lengthening locking knob that will enhance the column's locking strength, adding to the overall stability.

The VX Ballhead

Should I go for a Carbon Fibre or Aluminium tripod?

There are various factors to consider when deciding on a tripod. Carbon fibre tripods, by nature, have a very high strength-to-weight ratio. This means that tripods made from carbon fibre are both very strong and lightweight, and can withstand more weight without the chance of collapsing.

Whilst aluminium isn't the strongest metal, it's a versatile material for tripods. It's reasonably strong and is more pliable than carbon fibre meaning that if your tripod has an impact, it's less likely to snap. Whereas, carbon fibre is much more rigid and therefore is more prone to cracking or shattering.

Can you reverse the centre column for low-down angles?

Thanks to Benro's bat design, you can reverse the legs so that your centre column is low to the ground, without the need to detach the centre column. This makes for an easy transition between shots.
