The Atomos Ninja Cast is a product bundle including the Ninja V and AtomX CAST. Combining these, you have a fully functional stand-alone switcher, multiview monitor and broadcast-quality recorder that does not require a computer to function. With a 5” HDR touchscreen monitor, 4 x HDMI inputs and physical buttons, the Ninja CAST is an ideal portable live switching and streaming setup.

AtomX CAST
Designed to enhance your production, the AtomX CAST is intended for use with the Atomos Ninja V/V+. This cradle allows you to connect a mirrorless or DSLR camera, video camera, computer, consoles or pre-recorded content via its HDMI ports. The unit offers intuitive and flexible controls through either the touchscreen of the Ninja V or via the illuminated physical buttons on the device thats allow you to efficiently switch between your different video sources whilst broadcasting. There’s also coloured LED lighting for Program and Preview status for effective operation in dim lighting.
The Atomos Ninja 5
The Atomos Ninja 5 is well-loved in the video world, easily demonstrating how beneficial it is to professional productions. It is a 5" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor that is used as a monitor/recorder that will record and play back up to DCI 4K as well as to record to purpose-built mini-SSDs. Its equipped with a range of capabilities including recording in Apple ProRes Raw up to DCI 4K60 directly from the sensor of select cameras. A 10-bit screen with a brightness of 1000 cd/m² AtomHDR technology that allows you to monitor log gamma footage, and support for popular log formats from Sony, ARRI, Canon, JVC, Panasonic, Nikon, RED, Sony, and Z CAM cameras. What can I record in?
The Ninja V Is super-versatile and allows you to both record events and livestreams for editing and sharing later. You can record in 1080p60 and stream in 1080p30, of which you have ProRes/Avid DNx codec options and are saveable to SSD/SSDmini.
How many controls does it have?
The AtomX CAST has 4 Switching and 4 Function control buttons. In addition, it also has a multi-function power/lock screen button.
How is it powered?
It is powered by a Locking DC connector from Ninja V DC power supply. But, it can be powered by a battery using D-tap batteries via optional Atomos DC to D-Tap cable.

The balance of the finance agreement is payable directly to Novuna Consumer Finance in equal monthly instalments by monthly direct debit. The direct debit payments will commence at the end of the first month following receipt of your goods. The interest rate charged is 13.9% APR (representative). Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
