Dual Record
The dual record feature of the Atomos Connect for Ninja V/V+ creates “hero” Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHR/HD (or ProRes RAW on the NINJA V+) and “proxy” HEVC (H.265) files with matching timecode and metadata. Bringing the domains of production and post closer together, Proxy files can be uploaded during capture using Atomos progressive transfer technology so that the proxy clip is available in the cloud as soon as recording stops - access to production material doesn’t get any quicker than that!
Bring Your Own Camera
The Atomos Connect is built to support a comprehensive range of professional cinema, DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Users can choose between the built-in SDI and HDMI interfaces to suit their own setups. Atomos Connect also features Atomos AirGlu wireless sync technology, enabling direct, long-range communication between devices with a robust timecode lock.

What batteries are compatible with Atomos Connect?
The Atomos Connect for Ninja V/V+ is compatible with Sony’s NP-F / L-Series batteries.
What is an SDI port? Is SDI better than HDMI?
SDI ports are used to transmit video signals in a similar way to HDMI. These ports are preferred in professional production environments due to their longer range (up to 300 feet) and reliable locking mechanism.
How does the Atomos Connect attach to the Ninja V/V+?
The Atomos Connect fits flush to the back of your Ninja V/V+ and is secured using two screws. The slender profile of the Atomos Connect complements the compact form factor of the Ninja V/V+ monitors and avoids adding any excess bulk to your monitor.
What is the range of the Atomos Connect?
The Atomos Connect has an RF network range of 300m. However, the Bluetooth network range operates within line of sight and has a range of 10-15m.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
