The locks have been The O-Pads have been improved with better grip, leverage, and water displacement. Finally, the legs feature 3 Legged Thing's new Rapid Latch. These latches are made from anodised metal and use an auto-engage lock to open, close and position the tripod's legs. 3 Legged Thing AirHed VU

The 3 Legged Thing AirHed VU is the perfect travel tripod head. It's lightweight, durable, can take up to 40kg of weight and is a similar size to the award-winning AirHed Switch. It has a 360° panning base, knurled knobs that give extra grip and the knobs are colour coded for ease-of-use. It comes a small, but strong QR-Octa release plate that will work seamlessly with your camera gear. Finally, this new head has a unique clear panel that lets you see the central mechanism inside the head.
